Paints: you may use whatever you have. You do not need to have all the colors I use.
I recommend professional grade tube watercolors. Da Vinci, Daniel Smith, American Journey, Winsor Newton, etc.…These are the colors ones I use most often, but you can always use what you have…

Brushes: any watercolor brushes you have will do. I mostly use #1 liner, 6” or 8” round brush, 12” round, flat wash brush 1” or 1 ½”, various flat brushes for lifting.
